Dr. Adam Kilcrease is the Director of Federal Programs for the Russell County School District, bringing extensive experience in K–12 education as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, and director. His career in education includes leadership experience with both Phenix City Schools and Auburn City Schools.

In addition to his work in K-12 leadership, Dr. Kilcrease serves as an active higher education instructor and published researcher. His scholarly work focuses on the marginalization of the teaching profession, teacher evaluation, educational policy and law, and multilingual learning. His work bridges research, policy, and practice, with a particular emphasis on understanding and improving the systems that shape public perception, educators' experiences, and student outcomes.
